Welcome to my website. My name is Maria, and I am an illustrator who specializes in visualization for research purposes. I can help you communicate simple or complex ideas.

I am a doctor of Earth Science. During my PhD  I used geochemical, geochronological and petrological methodes to plot the story about  some Variscan metamorphic rocks (local input to the regional geology investigation). I have an MSc background  in experimental mineralogy as an environmental engineer. I also have an experience in environmental consulting for the heavy industry.

I enjoy working with different media, such as watercolors, gouache, digital art tools. I have a passion for drawing precise graphics, making exlibris, and painting botanical subjects. I also have skills in architectural drawing, logo design, and geological cartography basics.

I am based in Kraków – the second largest city in Poland, but I still love the countryside and wilderness. I am easy-going and flexible in both my personal and professional life.
